Animal-free approaches gained a high-Level of acceptance for the assessment of local effects. However, a Long way still lies ahead to develop alternative methods that reliably predict adverse systemic effects. Significant steps will be to identify human-relevant mechanisms that lead to those effects and develop suitable in vitro models as well as detection Systems for their correct prediction.

State-of-the-art knowledge ist presented as well as opportunities are given for active Information Exchange and Networking for upcoming Projects.

A booth on funding opportunities will complete the program.
