Dear LifeScienceNet community,
Here is a little reminder. We would like to invite you to the Life Science Center again. The series “Trends in single cell analysis” is celebrating a small anniversary and is entering its tenth round.
With “Trends in Single Cell Analysis #10”, we are continuing our “Life Science Innovation” event format, which provides insights into innovative research topics and current developments in Düsseldorf, NRW and beyond. We are delighted to welcome renowned experts from various fields who will discuss the latest advances in the detection and isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and the wider field of liquid biopsy. Professor Lisa Wiesmüller from the University of Ulm will enlighten us on the use of mass cytometry to study CTCs at the protein level. In addition, Dr. Zahra Eslami Samarin from the University Hospital of Montpellier will provide valuable insights into her latest findings on the biological interactions of CTCs with platelets and discuss the clinical relevance of the presence of CTCs together with other liquid biopsies. Finally, Dr. Siegfried Hauch of QIAGEN will make the case for examining multiple liquid biopsy analytes simultaneously to get the “big picture” of cancer.
